A big shake-up at the unopened Zocalo Mexican Cuisine on the Plaza?

Earlier this month, Fat City reported that Zocalo Mexican Cuisine & Tequileria, a new cantina, was on its way to filling the long-vacant Mi Cocina space on the Plaza. It was to be a partnership between Victor Esquada and Ivan Marquez, of the successful Johnson County restaurant Frida’s Contemporary Mexican Cuisine, and Chris Ridler, owner of the Sol Cantina restaurant and watering hole on 31st Street.

The question today: Is there still a partnership? Not according to two sources close to the Esquada and Ridler camps.
