Magnolia’s hosting its first Peach Wine Dinner

Shanita McAfee, the chef and owner of the intimate Magnolia’s Contemporary Southern Bistro (2932 Cherry, 816-531-2882), will share her love for ripe, juicy Missouri peaches when she teams with Amigoni Urban Winery for a “Peach Festival and Wine Dinner” to be hosted at Magnolia’s on Saturday, August 18, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The six-course meal, paired with Amigoni wines, is priced at $75 per person.
“I like experimenting with single ingredients,” McAfee says. “I had wanted to do something special with summer peaches and wines, but I had never heard of the Amigoni vineyard until recently. So I met with them, and we talked about the menu, and I think we’ve come up with something special.”
