Sarpino’s Pizzeria opens in Shawnee

Sarpino’s is looking for a bigger slice of the KC pizza market.

Sarpino’s Pizzeria is starting to rival Minsky’s in its pizza ubiquity. The Dispatch reports that the latest pizza shop from the Illinois-based franchise opened in Shawnee last week.

The pizza shop is in the Nieman Plaza shopping center at 6232 Nieman Road. It’s the sixth Kansas City-area location for Sarpino’s. A new pizzeria also opened last month in Lee’s Summit at 506 S.E. Missouri 291, Suite J. The Shawnee Sarpino’s is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
