Creature Feature: Cody is searching for a cuddle buddy
Creature Feature is The Pitch’s weekly profile on a local animal looking for adoption. Shelters and support in Kansas City and the surrounding region are often pushed to the breaking point, so picking one future companion to highlight is how we want to put them on your radar. But there are far more than we could ever fit into our pages. Some of the frequent resources and groups we work with—who also have hundreds of other furry friends to flip through—include Great Plains SPCA, Olathe Animal Shelter, The Pet Connection, All Paws & Pals Play and Stay, Pleasant Hill Animal Control, Pawportunities, Wayside Waifs, Midwest Animal Resq, Pawsperity, Wild Souls Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Humane Society Pet Food Pantry, KC Action For Animals, and Pet Resource Center of KC. For more resources like these, and for everything that help people with their needs too, check out The Pitch’s Community Resource Guide.
Here’s this week’s Creature Feature:
Meet this sweet pup, Cody. Unfortunately, Cody is still longing for a home, and we cannot seem to understand why he hasn’t found his own family yet. He loves other dogs and absolutely adores kids. His favorite thing to do is to show everyone all of his favorite toys! If you are looking for a family dog who is the physical embodiment of a hug and will love you unconditionally, then Cody is the pup for you!
If you or someone that you know would like more information or interested in scheduling a meeting greet, please contact Midwest Animal Resq in Raytown, MO.
