Figlio has closed, but is looking to relocate on the Plaza

Figlio (209 W. 46th Terr.), the spot where you once spent New Year’s Eve or danced at a wedding, has closed on the Plaza. Fat City’s Charles Ferruzza reviewed the Haddad Restaurant Group’s makeover of the restaurant back in 2008 and believed the changes weren’t as “dramatic as they should be,” but he did pay homage to the much beloved breadsticks.

The restaurant’s website indicates that it is “moving to a new location on the Country Club Plaza,” while its Facebook makes it clear that the restaurant is “still in lease negotiations.” It’s been a turbulent start to the year for independent restaurants on the Plaza with Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse closing last month.
