A Friday night tilt at Howdy KCMO saw Doubledrag and Still Ill shatter through the walls in a small building off Stadium Drive. Both local KC groups began a recent boom of shoegaze and alternative rock in 2024, releasing records four months apart to the praise of rock fans around the city. The $10 night showcased that in the best possible way, with a full-on, drawn-out Doubledrag light show to send things off.
