Last Friday, Laura Jane Grace helped LFK kick off their New Year’s celebration with a stop at the Granada on her New Year Celebration tour. Laura performed an acoustic set filled with Against Me! classics, such as “Transgender Dysphoria Blues” and “I Was a Teenage Anarchist”, along with a couple of singles from her new album “Hole in My Head” set to release on February 16th.

LFK’s very own Cat F!ght opened the show with their trademark set of signature songs along with their ferocious energy. Cat F!ght debuted a new song titled “Pharmacist” which was well received by the crowd along with their older songs “Growing Pains” and “Listen Up.”

Mya Byrne also opened the show performing songs that combine influences from countrypolitan, glam-pop, folk, and blues. Mya and her band, consisting of bassist Jamilah Sandoto and drummer Swan Real, hyped up the crowd with their political call out to Governor Bill Lee titled “Burn This Statehouse Down” while also delivering moving folk tunes, such as “Where the Lavender Grows.”
