David Allen accused of shooting, killing Thomas Dean in Waldo
David Allen has been charged in the shooting death of Thomas Dean in Waldo Saturday afternoon.
Kansas City police were called to the scene of a shooting at 205 West 78th Street around 2:49 p.m. When officers arrived, they found Dean, 58, wounded in the driveway of the residence. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested Allen around 3:07 p.m. Court records say he had a .38 special in his right front pocket. Allen refused to speak with detectives. Court records say an argument preceded the shooting.
