Fish stories? KCUR’s Central Standard wants to hear them this morning


There was a time in the not-so-distant past that “fresh” seafood in landlocked Kansas City might be limited at local restaurants to deep-fried shrimp and deep-fried catfish. If you were really lucky, a menu might offer sauteed trout.
Things have changed – all for the better – and the subject will be fish (and various other seafood dishes) on the Central Standard program at 10 a.m. on KCUR 89.3 with me and fellow panelists Emily Farris, blogger Mary Bloch, and Gloria Gale of 435 Magazine.
