Frances Mayes, Sandra Lee and the Deen brothers are all coming to town

Author Frances Mayes, who helped thousands of readers fall in love with the Italian countryside and cuisine in Under the Tuscan Sun, will be in town tonight at Brio Tuscan Grille (502 Nichols Road) on the Plaza. She’s co-hosting a dinner with Vivienne Jennings of Rainy Day Books at 6:30 p.m. The four-course dinner includes calamari fritti, chicken under the brick, and tiramisu. The event is $40 and includes a signed copy of her new book, Every Day in Tuscany.
