Overheard at KCI: Lidia’s is for special occasions

It’s easy to ignore the rotating advertisements that play above the luggage carousel at Kansas City International Airport. But when your flight is the last of the night, sometimes you can be waiting awhile.

And that’s when I noticed the couple in their mid-twenties next to me, who were running a play-by-play of the ads that appeared that would have made Vin Scully proud.
