Scientists working to let us bring liquid on planes again
Babies may not be able to lord over us with their ability to carry more than 3 ounces of liquid on an airplane for much longer.
The Sacramento Bee reports that scientists at UC Davis are attempting to re-engineer a test (originally designed to see if wine in a bottle had gone bad) to be able to distinguish whether a liquid in a sealed container is flammable. The project, which involves magnetic resonance imaging equipment, is being funded entirely by the Department of Homeland Security.
