Don’t throw it out! Reusing wine bottles and other containers

With both a recession and an environmental movement going on, throwing stuff away is about as popular as a Dick Cheney massage pillow.

I’ve always had a fear of pack-rats but lately I’ve been thinking twice before tossing empty glass bottles in the recycle bin. I’ve been wondering whether there was some way I could reuse them.

Thanks to the powers of the Internet, I’ve learned that there’s no such thing as an ending for a bottle, just new beginnings!

Throw a little paint and a $1 spout on a bottle of wine and you suddenly have a beautiful oil bottle. Considering most people already have an oil bottle this may not seem useful, but then consider that multiple bottles gives you many different options for popular infused olive oils, or vinegar bottles, soap bottles or cool-looking gifts.

If you drink a lot of wine then you should have some wine crates hanging around.
