Game on, drinkers or drink on, gamers?

Like athletes looking for an edge, beverage companies hope gamers are seeking ways to improve their performance or fuel a late-night session. The latest offering is from the soda company that seems to customize everything: Jones Soda’s limited edition of Dungeons & Dragons-inspired flavors.

While a healing potion sounds like it could come in handy, I’m not sure I want to ingest something called a sneak attack, one of the six flavors of spellcasting sodas.

This is not the first mainstream soda to be marketed to gamers this year. Mountain Dew had been heavily promoting Game Fuel, particularly to World of Warcraft players.
