Peppermint bark: naughty or nice?

While some dream of a white-chocolate Christmas, others have nightmares about a grandmother’s candy tin filled with the chocolate of yesteryear. White chocolate is one of those candy lightning rods. It’s impossible to be neutral about the chocolate made from cocoa butter, sugar and milk solids.

And as Christmas edges closer, every house or office must face the choice of whether to indulge in white chocolate covered in crushed candy canes, otherwise known as peppermint bark.
