Off the Vine Design & Cellar in Overland Park is closing

The Kansas City Star reports that Off the Vine Design & Cellar (4949 W. 119th St.) in Overland Park will close at the end of the month. The wine shop and design store opened in the Hawthorne Plaza shopping center three years ago. The store’s wine inventory is 50 percent off, and the home-decor items are 50 to 75 percent off.

Owners Trisha and Todd Klaus will continue to run the shop’s wine club, just without the retail location. Off the Vine offered wine tastings and taught classes on wine pairings and styles. Todd Klaus also writes a regular wine column for Kansas City Home & Gardens.
