What a drag: John Koop tells Facebook pals that Flo’s ends this weekend

It was news to his landlord, Diane Botwin, but femme illusionist and restaurateur John Koop announced on his Facebook page at 2:30 p.m. that he was closing Flo’s Cabaret this weekend. Botwin tells me that Koop hasn’t been returning her phone calls.

Last week, Koop insisted to Fat City that he was trying to sell — but wasn’t closing — the struggling restaurant and show bar.

Today he evidently decided he’d had enough.
