Sorry, you just missed the Taco Bell truck

This city has a sad under-representation of taco trucks. We have a few, but not dozens like Los Angeles or San Francisco, where they supposedly drive around day and night delivering amazing tacos.

But leave it to eagle-eyed friends of Fat City to spot the Taco Bell Truck at Starlight Theater during Monday night’s No Doubt concert (which our sister Wayward Blog covered quite well).

The Taco Bell Truck is slowly making its way across America, handing out tacos. This past Sunday and Monday it was in Kansas City delivering goods to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City and rocking with Gwen Stefani.

Of course, the truck’s workers have tweeted the whole experience, saying they were “dodging twisters” and telling fans they wish they “could deliver inside of Starlight.”

The truck is now heading to St. Louis for the MLB All-Star Game and then down to Oklahoma City. After that its schedule is open and it may stop back in Kansas City.
