Facebook and Coca-Cola

The most popular page on Facebook belongs to Barack Obama. That is not surprising. While campaigning, he asked people to friend him on Facebook.

But the second most popular page was started by a struggling actor in Los Angeles who just happens to love Coca-Cola but has zero ties to the company.

That actor, Dusty Zorg, has seen his Coca-Cola page swell to nearly 3.5 million members. It has become so large that Facebook asked Coke to moderate it for them because it was costing Facebook too much time to delete all the inappropriate comments and pictures.

That’s when Coca-Cola called Zorg.
