Anthony Bourdain plans to pen graphic novel about “ultraviolent food nerds”

In what has to be considered one of the weirder bits of news to come out of New York Comic Con, chef Anthony Bourdain is writing a graphic novel about “ultraviolent food nerds.”

Get Gyro will be published by DC Comics. As Eater notes, it’s “manga comics meets samurais meets Spaghetti Western meets luscious food

porn, all while foodies get ripped apart in an epic, bloody gore-fest.”
