Closing: The Sweet Guy

A bittersweet ending…

​Yesterday was the last day for the popular — well, here in Fat City, we thought it was, anyway — The Sweet Guy in Waldo, the confectionary shop opened 15 months ago by Blake Matthews that sold chocolate, gelato, coffee drinks, terrific cinnamon rolls and sandwiches. The venue will apparently serve the last of its gelato on Tuesday and Wednesday — and then it’s all over.
