A listener to today’s Walt Bodine Show — which had a breakfast theme — on KCUR 89.3 sent the producer an e-mail during the show: “Mama’s on 39th Street is not going to reopen. It’s going to become a Thai restaurant.”

Really? Fat City immediately sent an e-mail to developer Del Hedgepath, the owner of the building at 39th Street and Southwest Trafficway, where Mama’s on 39th Street had been a tenant until a fire destroyed much of the interior last October.
