‘Date Night’ is a new way for restaurants to seduce customers

The restaurant on the lower level of the Raphael Hotel, Chaz on the Plaza, has recently introduced “Dinner for Two” on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. For a set price of $75 — not including tax and gratuity — couples taking advantage of the deal will each be served a choice of soup or salad and a choice of entree. The couple gets to share one dessert and a bottle of red or white wine. (For nondrinking couples, the price is $65.)

There are other restaurants in the metro offering similar deals on different nights.
