It’s Craft Beer Week: Get out there and drink

You likely don’t need an excuse to drink, but just in case you’ve got to give a reason for heading out to the bar, it’s American Craft Beer Week today through Sunday.

The 75th Street Brewery is having a public tasting of its homebrew competition tonight [h/t to Show-Me Beer]

at 6 p.m. to kick off a week’s worth of festivities. Wednesday night, it’s debuting its Sour Sally beer in 6-ounce tasters, and

Thursday the brewery features $3 pints and appetizers.

“Craft beer is like great food or fine wine,” says Chris Sutton, CEO of KC Hopps. “It’s part of any person’s life that enjoys the finer things in life.”
