The Majestic’s got live jazz, and a few other weekend events

Life probably got a bit crazy this week between the NCAA Tournament and St. Patrick’s Day. If you want to slow it down a bit and discover a bit of inner tranquility, head over to the Majestic Restaurant. There will be two sets of live jazz. Rich Hill plays piano from 5 to 7 p.m., and then the Bram Wijnands Trio takes over for the next four hours.

Happy hour is from 2 to 6 p.m. The $5 menu, available only in the bar, typically includes a 1/2-pound burger, crab cake, fried risotto balls, or a duo of sliders (lamb, salmon BLT or filet mignon). The burgers and crab cake come with fries. You can also get a glass or red or white wine or a select martini for $5.
