Which out-of-city beer are you happiest is distributed in Kansas City?

In the cold dark days before craft brewers woke up to the idea that Kansas Citians are thirsty for the opportunity to try a new brew, the best chance you had of scoring a limited release was a six-pack or bottle brought back from a road trip or in a suitcase.

Today, the beer arrives in the back of a distributor’s truck all proper like. This week’s cover story is about how the Boulevard Brewing Co. and craft brewers from around the country have laid the foundation for a potential explosion of local nanobreweries.
