Glory on the football field lasts forever (if you believe Keanu Reeves), but the joy of football watching usually ends right around the moment you get up in the morning.

Glassdoor.com, a job and salary comparison site, looked at the lost productivity tied to Super Bowl parties and found that 9 percent of employees were taking a vacation day today. An additional 3 percent were planning to call in sick before the weekend even started. But not all of us have the luxury of taking a day to recuperates, and we’ll have to get through the day after Male Valentine’s Day together.
