What can you take from KC to out-of-town relatives?

You realize fairly early on when visiting relatives in another town, that’s it not you they’re always excited to see — sometimes they just can’t wait to get ahold of what’s in your bag. Until there was a grandchild in the mix, the best part of visits with my own folks might have been the box of Christopher Elbow that came with us (and as soon as Glace figures out a way to ship, that will be what’s headed to the East Coast).
