Do we have an official cocktail of Kansas City?

Singapore’s got the sling. New York City has the Manhattan. But Kansas City is without a signature cocktail.
Boulevard has locked down the moniker of hometown beer, and Amigoni would be considered Kansas City’s wine by most. But we’re missing that one cocktail that seems to embody what we do. The Smoky Bloody at the Rieger Hotel Grill & Exchange has to be a contender — the Crossroads restaurant’s take on a Bloody Mary comes with a stick of house-made beef jerky. It’s meaty and smoky and a nice homage to the history of Kansas City barbecue repackaged in modern fashion. What should be the official cocktail of Kansas City?
