80th annual Plaza Art Fair and other weekend possibilities
Art may be food for the soul, but your tummy requires a different kind of feast. Thankfully, the 80th annual Plaza Art Fair from Friday through Sunday has something for all of your senses. With 26 restaurants operating booths, you’ll have trouble choosing among meatballs from Coal Vines, potato bacon chowder in a sourdough bread bowl from M&S Grill, the fried green tomatoes from Starker’s Restaurant, pork carnitas tacos from Zocalo, and the jalapeno cheddar brat burger from Blanc Burgers + Bottles. The art fair runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
