Arguably the great joy in writing for Fat City is in discovering new restaurants — a dining room that has a buzz and the moment of anticipation that accompanies a dish never before tried. In that rush to find the newest, shiniest menu, sometimes old favorites get lost in the shuffle. And while new restaurants usually need to be enjoyed with a bit of forgiveness (the kitchen is slow on a busy night, or a server forgets a glass of wine), a more established joint has already figured out how to be consistent — in many cases, that’s why it’s an old favorite.

Well, today, I’m hoping to rediscover the classics and find out some of your hidden gems. Where are you a regular, and what’s your regular order?
