- Genghis Grill has closed.
With the recent closing of the Genghis Grill, the list of restaurants that didn’t make it are beginning to mount over at the Power & Light. Bice, Famous Dave’s, Chef Burger, Raglan Road, and the Peachtree Restaurant have all shut their doors in the past year.
Power & Light Executive Director Nick Benjamin issued a written statement explaining that the Genghis Grill was being evicted for a “failure to pay rent,” and pointing to the recent openings of Whopper Bar, Bar Louie, Balsano’s Gelato Cafe and Drunken Fish as a sign that the P&L is getting stronger.
