Just because you love bowling doesn’t mean you have to sit at home on New Year’s Eve. Diamond Bowl (218 N. Osage, Independence) is hosting a Bowler Bash. From 6 to 9 p.m. is family fun with $10 lanes and shoes. The party gets going from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. It’s a $5 cover, $10 lane and shoes, and you have to be 18 and over. There’s also a $35 VIP tickets, which include cover, bowling, food and drinks.
Lucky Strike (1370 Grand) has an all-inclusive package from 8 to 10 p.m. For $35 per person or $60 per couple, you get a call bar, appetizer buffet and free bowling. If you want to bowl after 10 p.m., it’s a $15 cover in advance and $20 at the door.
