Royal Liquor’s Strong Ale Week begins with free beer tasting tonight

If you’re looking up at the clock and thinking it’s only Tuesday, odds are you’re going to need something strong to get you through the rest of the week. Royal Liquor (1301 W. 103rd St.) is not a bad place to turn to in your time of great thirst.

That’s because this week is Strong Ale Week at Royal Liquor with three free tasting events featuring craft beer. The first event is tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and features a curated list from local beer bloggersKC Brew Review and KC Beer Blog (trust me, you’re in good hands). Among the beers being tasted are Great Divide’s Old Ruffian and Brouwerij Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet (a complete list is here).
