Do you tip less if you eat at the bar?

I spent my afternoon yesterday on a pair of bar stools — the things we do for work. And I was reminded of a conversation I had recently with a local bartender about those who dine at the bar. It would seem that patrons fall into two categories: those who tip like they’re dining at a regular table and others who view the bar as not worthy of 20 percent (or whatever their standard).

Do you tip less or differently if you eat at the bar?
