Zero curfew violations on first weekend of entertainment district crackdown
There were zero violations of Kansas City’s new youth curfew on its first weekend. It’s not surprising. We just spent a week hearing promises that we wouldn’t see a repeat of last weekend’s mayhem on the Country Club Plaza in which three teens were shot (they’re expected to recover).
With an increased police presence, it would have been foolish to cause a ruckus this weekend. Let’s hope it lasts. Now, how about taking care of the violence in the other parts of Killa City?
