Zack Greinke on the trading block? The Kansas City Royals are listening

No one should be surprised that Kansas City Royals ace Zack Greinke is on the trading block. Greinke hasn’t exactly been quiet about his displeasure with the Royals habit of losing all of the time.

ESPN’s Buster Olney reported that the Royals’ timeline for winning — 2013 or 2014 — doesn’t exactly match up with the length of Greinke’s current contract, which expires in 2012. This is all assuming the world doesn’t end before the Royals can become winners again (and hey, Royals GM Dayton Moore could be hoping that the apocalypse bails him out of this mess). Fingers crossed!
