Yuri Ives’ body found inside Northeast Kansas City mansion; homicide suspected

UPDATE: Kansas City police say 48-year-old Yuri Ives was the victim of Monday night’s homicide in Northeast Kansas City. Police are still looking for Ives’ killer, but authorities reportedly believe Ives knew his killer.

A Google search of Ives’ name revealed that he was a realtor, and the Star reported that Ives restored and sold homes in Kansas City’s Northeast neighborhood (and lived there in an apartment building that he restored into a three-story mansion).
