Your Wrong

Some people hunt bears or go deep-sea fishing, both of which involve expensive equipment, potentially dangerous circumstances, and uncomfortable ethical questions about wildlife sustainability. Lucky for Jeff Deck and Benjamin D. Herson, their prey of choice will never go extinct. They are typo hunters, armed with wit and Sharpies. The founding members of the Typo Eradication Advancement League stalk restaurants and street corners in search of desert menus, awesome deal’s and why your wrong. Deck and Herson have documented their cross-country expedition at greattypohunt.com. The blog also has spawned a book, The Great Typo Hunt, and scores of videos on YouTube. Rainy Day Books brings the word nerds to the Plaza Branch of the Kansas City, Missouri, Public Library (4801 Main) to talk at 6:30 p.m. about catching word fouls.
