Yadda, Yadda, Yadda-ing to the Bank

Jerry Seinfeld has had many notable moments as a pitchman. In 1993, he appeared as his sitcom alter ego on The Today Show wearing the puffy shirt designed by Kramer’s low-talking girlfriend. From 1998 through 2004, the real Seinfeld partnered with Superman in a series of American Express TV and Web ads. Last year, he shilled during the second-season premiere of 30 Rock for his animated Bee Movie in “SeinfeldVision.” And in August, Seinfeld became a spokesman for Microsoft as part of a $300 million campaign. Now, the comic and corporate mouthpiece will deliver his latest round of “What’s the deal with…?”-isms when he extends his blessing upon the new Midland Theatre (1228 Main). Tickets to the 7 and 9:30 p.m. shows cost $62.50 to $77.50. Call 816-471-8600 for more information.
