Woman shot to death Saturday in KCK; homicide suspect surrenders after standoff
Kansas City, Kansas, police arrested a homicide suspect after a standoff early Saturday morning.
Around 4 a.m., police found a black woman in her 20s shot to death in the 3000 block of South Eighth Street.
Police received a tip that a possible suspect had barricaded himself inside a home in the 1500 block of North Fifth Street. The KCK SCORE Unit and Lenexa Tactical Unit responded to the scene.
Authorities received a report that the suspect was barricaded in the home with two juveniles.
