Woman killed in Raytown: Killa City homicide 37
A man is in police custody as Raytown police investigate the homicide of a woman in the 6700 block of Raytown Road. Police are calling the man in custody a possible suspect.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
More details are expected to come out this afternoon. What is known is the police responded to the home around 10 a.m., found the woman injured and transported her to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
The Kansas City Star is reporting that the woman called police, telling them that she was shot.
