Woman found passed out with a blood-alcohol level five times the legal limit
Shawnee police found a 20-year-old woman with five times the legal limit of alcohol in her system passed out in the parking lot and now Shawnee police are investigating Johnny’s Tavern (13410 W. 62nd Terrace) to see if they served a minor, KMBC reports.
Five times? Wow. That’s damn near lethal, according to the University of Oklahoma’s Police Department, which says a 0.40 is the “onset of coma, and possible death due to respiratory arrest.”
KMBC says the minor was in a hospital but doesn’t give her condition.
