Woman claims she was raped by Club NRG employees after coke party
A woman claims she was raped by two employees of Club NRG (220 Admiral Blvd.) after snorting cocaine at an after party at the club, KCTV 5 reports.
The woman reportedly told police that she’d never done that much blow before. She claimed she tried to leave Club NRG — formerly known as Club NV — and tried to hook up with friends to get away from the two men, but the men allegedly forced her into a car and drove her to an apartment complex on East Third Street.

The woman said she spent the drive over texting her friends exactly where she was being taken and those friends in turn contacted police.
By the time police arrived, the woman said she had been forced to do more cocaine after which she was taken to the bathroom and raped by both men.
Police soon arrived and arrested both men. The victim was taken to a hospital.
The men have not been charged. I’ll file an update if charges are filed.
In late May, the city’s division of Regulated Industries and the club’s owner agreed to a 60-day suspension (read all about it here) of the downtown dance club’s
operations. This came after several fights, a shooting and an incident in which a female bartender smashed a bottle of Grey Goose over a patron’s head after an argument.
