William C. Ross guilty of raping woman in front of her children

Kansas City’s ability to top its horrific violence never disappoints. William C. Ross is our latest waste of oxygen — a man who raped a 22-year-old woman in front of her screaming children after claiming he needed help.

Ross and another man showed up at the woman’s door late one January evening. They claimed they needed help; their truck was stuck in the snow in front of her home

near 37th and Olive. The woman offered them buckets of water to melt the snow around the truck. When

the woman brought the third bucket to Ross, he pushed her

down and pulled down her pants. The woman screamed, “I have kids here!”
