The Sleater-Kinney ladies have been keeping since retiring their band, what with Quasi and Portlandia and Stephen Malkmus’ band and the Corin Tucker Band. and you get the idea. Wild Flag, a punkish group that includes drummer Janet Weiss and guitarist Carrie Brownstein, will release its debut album in September, and the next month, they’ll stop by RecordBar.
