Where We Pee: Poetry from the Jackpot men’s room

“Where We Pee” is a weekly excursion into a local music venue’s excretory facilities, with a premium on the witticisms scrawled onto the walls.

The poetry attached to the big-ass marker tag in the Jackpot men’s room (above the right-hand urinal, just to the right of the flush mechanism) informs the reader that Ratt:

“is a foxx

in a boxx

wearing soxx

who smokes rox

while eating bagels

with lox”

Or, alternately, Ratt:

“is a fag

in a bag

with rags

on his

fags.”

Points deducted for homophobic slurs and repetition. Rhyming words with themselves is the sole province of bad songwriters and Emily Dickinson.
