What to do this week

Tonight: Have a Pink Martini. No, this recommendation has nothing to with Sarah Jessica Parker. Pink Martini is the name of the excellent musical group performing at the Midland this evening.

Tuesday: Be awed in the presence of an awesome writer when Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Russo reads at the Kansas City Central Library.

Wednesday: Watch a local artist on national TV. The Brick will host watch parties every Wednesday night for Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, which features fashionista/artist/Crossroads entrepreneur Peregrine Honig and debuts this week.

Thursday: Hum along to Broadway songs. The Jewish Community Center’s production of Celebration in Song: The Music of Stephen Schwartz continues this week.
