Westport Saloon celebrates its two-year anniversary on Saturday with music from the Kansas City Bear Fighters, Rural Grit, A.J. Gaither OMB and more

Has it really been two years since the Westport Saloon came into our musical life? Why, it seems like just yesterday that we were strolling into the new Westport Saloon, its polished wooden floors ready for some boot-scuffin’ dancing, its hundreds of whiskey bottles winking suggestively at us.

Saturday night, the Westport Saloon celebrates its two years of business with a free show (though, to be fair, Saloon shows never have a cover) featuring the music of singer-songwriter Sissy Brown, old-time roots collective Rural Grit, folk weirdos the Kansas City Bear Fighters and the inexhaustible A.J. Gaither OMB

The Westport Saloon opens at 4 p.m. Saturday. Sissy Brown goes on at 7 p.m., Rural Grit at 8 p.m., the Kansas City Bear Fighter at 10 p.m. and A.J. Gaither OMB at midnight. For more details, go here
