Westboro Baptist Church incurs Ozzy’s rage with a parody of ‘Crazy Train’

The Prince of Darkness is looming toward Kansas City on Saturday night, and he’s already pissed at our local hatemongers, the Westboro Baptist Church.

The WBC will bring its day-glo hate to the Sprint Center on Saturday night to picket the “God-hating fool” Ozzy Osbourne from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. Ozzy is already angry with the WBC for using some of his lyrics last year: During a post-hearing press conference in October, Shirley Phelps-Roper and her sister performed a version of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” in response to a question by the press.

“I am sickened and disgusted by the use of ‘Crazy Train’ to promote messages of hate and evil by a ‘church,'” Ozzy said in a press release, referring to the iconic song off 1980’s Blizzard of Ozz.
